Sometimes a bit of isolation is just what an artist needs, even if it comes by surprise…
“Throughout the album’s tracks, Tiberio pays particular attention to the small moments of grace and serenity where humanity shines through the adversity and chaos of everyday life.”
Brazilian music with spices of reggae, classical, jazz improvisation, folk-styled melodies, Uruguayan candombe, and splashes of pop, the six-member band, along with special guests, delivers a sublime album with every tune a pure delight of lyricism and percussive rhythms.
The album title comes from the song, “Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated,” to which MacDonald infused tasteful samba dance rhythms. In his extensive online notes, MacDonald shares that his scarred and bruised faith bolstered through careful examination of this song’s poetic lyrics.
