“ Tessellations was directly inspired by the art of M.C. Escher and his ability to unify contrasting visual concepts through his use of tessellation. In this piece, the unifying element that binds and resolves the contrasting musical ideas is the underlying piano ostinato, whose driving presence gave the track its name.”
